WWE SmackDown Recap (8/27): Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens, Dudleys In Action, Rollins Takes Shot At TNA?

Welcome to our WrestlingINC.com SmackDown coverage. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens and the Dudley Boyz are all set to appear.

- The Wyatt Family is out, with new member in tow. Bray Wyatt says his family means everything to him. He refers to Sister Abigail in present tense, and said her eyes light up when she talks about Braun Strowman.

Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose interrupt and say Braun kicked their asses Monday, but they're ready for a fight. They get in the ring and the Wyatts back off.

Dudley Boyz vs. The Ascension

We get some back and forth action until the Dudleys hit Viktor with a side slam/legdrop combo. The wazzup headbutt is next, then D-Von goes for a table. Viktor hits an STO, and Ray is worked into the corner and double teamed. D-Von gets the hot tag and shoulder blocks Conor, flapjacks Viktor, then takes Conor out until Viktor breaks the count. Ray makes a blind tag and they hit the 3D on Conor for the win.

Winners: Dudley Boyz via pinfall (3D)

The Dudleys get the table, and New Day comes out with picket signs that say "#GiveTablesAChance," "booty," and "save a table, break a Dudley." Viktor gets superbombed through the table.

Neville vs. Kevin Owens

Neville starts off with a headscissors takedown that sends Owens out of the ring, but he immediately gets clotheslined when he gives chase. Back inside the ring, Kevin Owens busts out a rack neckbreaker for two that leads us to a commercial break.

We come back to see Neville fighting out of a headlock with several kicks. Neville lands a big missile dropkick and a German suplex. He follows up with a superkick, but can't get the Red Arrow in time. Owens with a Pop-Up Powerbomb for the win.

Winner: Kevin Owens via pinfall (Pop-Up Powerbomb)

- Charlotte and Becky are backstage when the Bellas (sans Alicia) approach them and try to sour the two on Paige. Charlotte brings up that Brie and Nikki hated each other a year ago, and Nikki wished death on Brie.

Team PCB (Charlotte & Sasha Banks) vs. Bella Twins

Team BAD is on commentary for this. PCB hits a double suplex on Nikki, but Nikki hits a sunset flip on Becky for two. The Bellas slam Charlotte into the mat and Brie attacks Charlotte's leg. Charlotte knocks Brie an Nikki both outside, but the Bellas cheat to prevent the tag. Charlotte rolls up Brie for the win anyway.

Winners: Team PCB via pinfall

- Seth Rollins comes out and says Monday was supposed to be the best day of his life, but Sting ruined it. He says Sting is jealous because Rollins became jealous while Sting toiled away in the minor leagues. He says he'll turn Sting's old bones to dust. The ether was strong here.

- Sheamus is backstage being interviewed by Jojo. He says he'll become the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Ryback & Dolph Ziggler (w/ Lana) vs. Rusev & Big Show (w/ Summer Rae)

Big Show dominates Ryback early with strikes, but Rusev tags himself in and yells at Big Show before the break. We come back to see Rusev controlling Ryback, and refusing to tag in Big Show. Ziggler finally gets the hot tag and dropkicks Show repeatedly. Ziggler blocks a chokeslam, Show blocks a superkick, and Show hits the Alley-oop before knocking out Ziggler. Rusev tags himself in and applies the Accolade, but Show knocks him out. Ziggler pins Rusev.

Winners: Ryback & Dolph Ziggler via pinfall (WMD)

- We see recaps of Brock Lesnar's week, as well as Jon Stewart's.

- Roman Reigns is seen backstage with Ambrose. He says he has Ambrose's back if he needs it.

Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus

Ambrose slams Sheamus' head into the announce table, tosses him inside, and throws him out again before being tossed into the guard rail. Sheamus slams Ambrose into the announce table as we go to our last commercial. We come back to see Sheamus suplex Ambrose in the ring before applying the Stretch Muffler, which he turns into a sitout powerbomb.

Sheamus does his clubbing blows, but Ambrose turns him around and does a few of his own. A clothesline outside the ring leaves both men down. Sheamus is sent into the ring post, and Ambrose hits a big suicide dive. Both men end up missing their finishes, and Ambrose lays Sheamus out with a lariat. The Wyatts pop up and Sheamus hits the Brogue kick for the win.

Winner: Sheamus via pinfall (Brogue Kick)

The Wyatts circle Ambrose, but Reigns' music hits. He blasts Harper with a Superman punch. Strowman grabs Reigns' and chokes him out. He lands the lifting cutter to end the show.
