Roman Reigns On Gaining Fans Respect, His Choice For WWE HOF, How Seth Rollins Has Done As Champion

CBS Sports has an interview with Roman Reigns, who was promoting tonight's WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view. Below are a few highlights:

How Seth Rollins is doing as WWE Champion:

"To put all of our beef and our animosity aside, I can't lie to you: I think he's done a good job. A lot comes with being the WWE champion. There's a lot of responsibility and there's a lot of dates and a lot of towns that you have to make, a lot of appearances. Every single day you have to be on your A game. You have to lead. You have to carry. I can't speak on his personal choices and how he carries himself, but I know he's carried that title like a man would. He's worked his butt off to get where he is and he's worked his butt to maintain where he's at. He better enjoy it before he runs back into me, I know that."

What he took away from his WrestleMania 31 experience:

"I took home a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I'm never proud of losing a match, or any moment that I didn't come out on top. That's always the goal, to win and better my family and my future, especially in the ring. So that's a tough pill to swallow. But at the same time, I was very grateful for the opportunity and in hindsight, I feel like I learned so much from those moments and those weeks building up into it. On the other end, the only thing I wanted was respect. That's all I wanted is just respect. I think as a man, that's not asking for too much. I'm willing to fight for every ounce of it. WrestleMania was a great start and hopefully as the weeks go by I'll just continue to earn respect."

Who he would select for the WWE Hall of Fame:

"Oh, that's tough. Three Minute Warning. Yeah, I'd stick with the family. I wish his career was so much longer, but I definitely think Umaga's one of the best of all time. I wish he would have had a little more time to hold the titles and put in a few more years of work, but in my opinion, one of the best big men of all time. Nobody more intense. Nobody more athletic. So charismatic. We lost one way too early. I'll go ahead and throw my brother in the same boat as far as being a great performer and try and give those guys the nod, you know?"

Reigns also discussed advice he'd give to NXT talents, whose matches he enjoys watching, his response at The Royal Rumble and more. You can read the full interview by clicking here.
