WWE Main Event Recap (8/21): Charlotte Gets A Win, Prime Time Players, Stardust, Jack Swagger

Welcome to Wrestling Inc's coverage of WWE Main Event. Stardust, Jack Swagger, Prime Time Players, Charlotte and more are scheduled for today's show.

Charlotte (w/ Becky Lynch) vs. Alicia Fox (w/ Bella Army)

Fox grabs a headlock early, but Charlotte gets out and rolls her up for two. The vintage Flair knee drop doesn't slow Alicia down, as she runs Charlotte into the turnbuckle repeatedly and delivers her own chops. Charlotte tries to climb back in the ring from the apron, but is kicked down to the floor as we go to commercial.

We come back to see Fox working a chinlock, followed by a nice tilt-a-whirl backbreaker that cant get the job done. Charlotte keeps trying to fight off Fox's attack, but gets cut off repeatedly. Charlotte manages an arm drag, and then the two hit a double boot, leaving both women down. Charlotte regains her bearings and hits a spear, followed by the Figure 8 for the win.

Winner: Charlotte via submission (Figure 8)

Jack Swagger vs. Stardust (w/ King Barrett)

Swagger attacks early, but eats boot on a Vader Bomb attempt. Stardust then uses dirty tactics to hold the advantage. Stardust then sends Swagger over the top rope to the floor, where Swagger tosses him back in. Inside the ring, Swagger applies a Patriot Lock, but Stardust gets to the ropes. Instead, Swagger settles for a Vader Bomb that gets a two count. He applies another Patriot Lock, but gets booted in the face and eats Queen's Crossbow. Stardust wins.

Winner: Stardust via pinfall (Queen's Crossbow)

Prime Time Players vs. Ascension

Ascension works Titus O'Neil into their corner where they double team him with strikes and chinlocks for a couple of minutes. Titus fights out and uses Darren Young, front suplexing him onto Viktor as we go to commercial.

We come back to see Ascension double teaming Darren Young, including a sunset flip spot they use in every match. Conor suplexes Young, but it's only good for a two count. Young fights back and makes the hot tag to Titus, who absolutely kills Viktor with his comeback series. Apron backdrop on Conor by Young, Clash of the Titus on Viktor. Ballgame.
