WWE Tough Enough Recap (8/11): John Cena Appears, Cast Works Matches, Newest Elimination, More

Welcome to our WrestlingINC.com Tough Enough coverage. We have only three episodes left, and we'll find out at least one set of finalists tonight.

- Renee Young and Chris Jericho kick the show off, introducing Paige, Miz, and Daniel Bryan. The judges give the contestants words of wisdom.

- Chris Jericho is in the barracks, and talks to the contestants. GG and Amanda express their frustration with doing well in challenges, and being outvoted by people who don't. Chris Jericho asks each person their favorite match, and nobody says Melina vs. Alicia Fox. Jericho then says ring psychology is important.

- Jericho wakes Tanner up for training after he slept in due to partying. The coaches are teaching them psychology today, and Jericho is in there training with them. Sara struggles to not smile. Tanner and GG, Josh and ZZ and Sara/Amanda are matched up to put together matches. The trainers come by and help each of them. The NXT roster is watching the matches.

- Josh vs. ZZ is up first, and Josh looks like a natural. They're playing an underdog vs. giant story, and Josh dominates and wins. They actually both looked good.

Amanda vs. Sara is up next, and Sara won't stop smiling. This match is really bad, even in highlights. Sara wins, and Amanda is complimented by the judges. The judges tell her to stop smiling so much.

GG and Tanner are up next, and do well, outside of GG falling once on a hiptoss. Tanner rolls her up for a win. They get a lot of props from the judges. Josh is named the winner of the challenge.

- GG and Amanda are shown reading mean tweets people send them, and it's fantastic.

- John Cena is introduced and encourages the cast to keep on' keepin' on, and wishes them luck. He makes it very clear that he wants to wrestle at Summerslam.

- Miz says that Tanner acts like a robot, in that he takes orders well, but it's the things in between moves that matters. Sara and ZZ talk about how much they hate being in the bottom three. ZZ is complimented for his facial expressions and GG is criticized for not having that much personality in the ring.

- Miz puts Tanner in the bottom 3, Paige puts Sara Lee in and Daniel Bryan puts GG in. ZZ says Tanner should go home, Josh says the same. Amanda says Sara should go home.

Daniel Bryan refuses to use a save. Gigi is eliminated with 22 percent. Sara gets 43 percent of the votes, and Tanner is at 35. GG cries and says she'll pursue a career in the WWE.
