Details On Roddy Piper's Last Movie
Deadline reports that Freestyle Releasing has signed a deal to release a faith-based movie with WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper, titled "The Masked Saint." This would be the last movie for Piper.
The movie is scheduled to be released on January 8th. It is inspired by true events about a retired pro wrestler who becomes a small-town pastor with a secret – he moonlights as a masked vigilante fighting injustice. The movie was inspired by the true-life story of Pastor Chris Whaley.
