WWE SmackDown Recap (7/30): Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins Team Up, Cesaro Gets Mystery Partner, More

Welcome to our WrestlingINC.com Live SmackDown Viewing Party. Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Cesaro and Dean Ambrose are all scheduled for the show.

- Seth Rollins comes out and brags about his recent accomplishments, including defending his title against Seth Rollins, and breaking John Cena's nose. Cesaro comes out and says they have a match tonight, and this time he's going to make Rollins tap out.

Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro

Rollins dips out of the ring, and Kevin Owens makes his way to ringside to start it off. He joins commentary, and Cesaro double foot stomps Rollins to gain control of the match. Several European uppercuts later, Cesaro is driven face first and dropkicked into the middle turnbuckle. Kevin Owens notes that he broke his nose in a match and nobody talked about how tough he was on commentary.

Rollins goes for a suicide dive, but Cesaro catches him with an uppercut. Kevin Owens runs in and attacks Cesaro, causing a DQ.

Winner: Cesaro via DQ

Owens and Rollins put the boots to Cesaro as referees break it up.

The Ascension & New Day (w/ Xavier Woods) vs. Lucha Dragons & Los Matadores (w/Torito)

PTP are on commentary for this. The Matadores destroy Viktor with double team sentons before placing him in an armbar. Sin Cara gets pushed into the corner, but hits a moonsault on both members of the Ascension. Xavier pushes him off the top rope as the referee is distracted.

We come back from commercial to see New Day do a chinlock kick to Sin Cara and isolate him in the corner. Viktor comes in, but crashes and burns into the turnbuckle, and Sin Cara makes the tag. Kalisto comes in and goes crazy, hitting a springboard kick and a tornado DDT. Torito also enters the fray, and the Matadores save him. Big E gets tripped up, and Kalisto rolls up Viktor for the pin.

Winners: Lucha Dragons & Los Matadores via pinfall

- Kevin Owens is told that he's teaming up with Seth Rollins to face Cesaro and a partner of his choosing tonight. Owens says his partner will be sorry.

- We see a Becky Lynch video package.

Rusev (w/Summer Rae) vs. Jack Swagger

This one starts out slow, but the crowd is behind Jack Swagger big time. The go back and forth for a little bit until the commercial. We come back to see Swagger hit a clothesline and a belly-to-belly suplex. Swagger goes for the Patriot Lock, but Rusev hits a big superkick and the Accolade for the win.

Winner: Rusev via submission (Accolade)

Rusev goes to attack Swagger, but gets put in a Patriot Lock and runs from the ring.

- Backstage, Cesaro is asked if he's found a partner. Cesaro looked at his Tyson Kidd armband and says "not here." Cesaro notes he has a problem with both Rollins and Owens will fight alone if he has to.

R-Truth vs. Stardust

Stardust attacks Truth early and clotheslines him in the back of the head for a two count. Truth gets a two on a sunset flip and follows up with clotheslines and a kick. Queen's Crossbow out of nowhere gets the with for Stardust.

Winner: Stardust via pinall (Queen's Crossbow)

- Stardust attacks R-Truth, but Neville comes to make the save.

- Sheamus is backstage looking frustrated. He says he's going to keep tearing Randy Orton apart piece by piece until Orton leaves the WWE.

Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro & Dean Ambrose

Ambrose and Cesaro clear the ring twice right off the bat, and the heels regroup as we go to the last commercial break. We come back to see Owens work over Cesaro, only to make the hot tag to Ambrose, who puts the boots to Seth Rollins in the corner.

Rollins rolls outside and eats a suicide dive. Back inside, Ambrose scores with a reverse powerbomb, but only gets a two count. Rollins comes back and gets a nearfall off of a sunset flip turnbuckle bomb as Tom Phillips annoyingly screams "OOH" at every move instead of calling it. Superkick from Rollins leaves them both down.

wens gets the tag, but is knocked off the top rope by Ambrose. He recovers and lands a super fisherman's buster, but Cesaro breaks up the count. Swiss Blade on Owens, then a crossface. Giant swing on Rollins, and Cesaro takes out Owens to the outside. Superplex from Ambrose to Rollins, and Cesaro rolls up Owens for the win.

Winners: Cesaro & Dean Ambrose via pinfall

Cesaro and Ambrose celebrate to end the show.
