Mick Foley Talks About NXT, Which Stars He'd Call Up To The Main Roster, How He'd Bring Them In

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley recently appeared on You're Welcome! with Chael Sonnen, where he talked extensively about the importance of WWE NXT, and which stars look poised to break out on the WWE main roster.

Foley brought up Kevin Owens and Finn Balor by name, and also noted that Neville performed well during WWE's Beast in the East show.

"Kevin Owens is getting that huge break, and it came pretty quickly. Finn Balor tore down the house in Japan, Chris Jericho and Neville had an amazing match. It's a matter of which guy catches fire," Foley said.

Foley, who has been publicly supportive of NXT's Women's division said that several of the ladies on their roster are more than prepared for a WWE run.

"If WWE does the right thing with women in NXT, they could completely change the way that women's wrestling is looked at, and contribute to the way women's sports are looked at as well. Sasha Banks, Ric Flair's daughter Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Bayley in NXT could come," Foley said. "I'm afraid if they come over one at a time they'll get absorbed into the system instead of changing it. If they come over as four and they do the right thing, and I can't stress how important this is to me. If I was a politician this would be my one issue I would talk constantly about."
