Jeff Jarrett On Why He Returned To TNA, GFW Television Show Gets A Name, GFW Weekend Line Ups
- In the video above, Jeff Jarrett reveals that the Global Force Wrestling television show – which will be taping in Las Vegas this month on the 24th – has been named Amped. As of yet, there has been no television deal announced for the promotion.
- John Corrigan of Wrestledelphia has an interview with Jarrett at this link. During the interview, Jarrett was asked why he returned to TNA.
"Well, if you watched the interview on Destination America a few weeks ago, it was exactly how it went down," Jarrett said. "I got a text from TNA management, the text turned into a conference call, a conference call turned into meeting about them wanting me back. I wasn't interested in wrestling at first, but they sort of tugged at the heart strings with the King of the Mountain match.
"It goes without saying that it was a highly emotional several days. They wanted me back for the match, and I wanted to continue to promote and raise awareness for Global Force Wrestling. So far it's been a win-win for both promotions."
