WWE Japan PPV News: Special Guest, Why Card Was Shuffled, Original Plans For Chris Jericho

WWE will host their first WWE Network special from Japan in just over a week. As we mentioned earlier, there have been some changes to the card.

Tyson Kidd and Cesaro were originally set to face the New Day duo of Big E and Xavier Woods, as Kofi Kingston is booked to face Brock Lesnar. Kidd's neck injury forced him off the show, and New Day will now face the Lucha Dragons. Cesaro will face Diego of Los Matadores, who were originally set to face the Dragons.

Chris Jericho will also be featured on the show, and was slated to work with Finn Balor, but then Balor was placed against Kevin Owens. As of now, Jericho is tentatively set to face Neville.

Also appearing at the event will be WWE Hall of Famer Tatsumi Fujinami, who will be a special guest. The show airs on J Sports in Japan, and WWE Network in the United States.
