Ring Of Honor TV Results (3/29): Samoa Joe's Return, Moose, Donovan Dijak In Action

Moose (w/ Stokely Hathaway & Veda Scott) vs. Caprice Coleman

Every time I see Moose, I wonder how WWE hasn't paid a king's random to get him away from ROH. Stokely Hathaway is playing a face as Veda Scott works the heel role. Coleman immediately grabs a double wristlock, but Moose powers his way out before missing a dropkick. Moose quickly turns the tides and gains the advantage, however.

Moose controls the match using power moves, including swinging Caprice into the barricade repeatedly in a nasty spot. Coleman gets Moose off his feet and manages a two count, and follows up with a dive to the outside. Moose finishes him off with a huge dropkick and a spear. Moose is going to be a huge star.

Winner: Moose via pinfall (Spear)

I can't say enough positive things about Moose. He's everything WWE looks for physically.

Decade vs. Shaheem Ali & Leon St. Giovanni

This is a quick, merciless squash match. Decade jumped Ali & Giovanni before the bell and Page hit the All Seeing Eye for a quick win.

Winners: Decade via pinfall (All Seeing Eye)

Decade cuts a promo after the match and say they're looking for their next youngster. They extend the offer to Colby Corino, who jumps at the offer but his dad isn't happy about it. Jimmy Jacobs gets in the ring and yells at Whitmer for going after Corino.

House Of Truth (J Diesel & Donovan Dijak w/ Truth Martini) vs. Bob Evans & Cheeseburger

Dijak and Evans start out until Cheeseburger tags in for some reason, and gets killed by a Dijak chokeslam and backbreaker. He arrogantly lifts Cheeseburger up before the three count. Diesel and Dijak work him over in their corner as Truth Martini joins the commentary booth.

The sympathetic beat down on Cheeseburger continues for the duration of the match until Evans gets the hot tag and goes wild. He inexplicably tags Cheeseburger back in, but Dijak beats up both of them and lands Feast Your Eyes on poor little cheeseburger. That's all, folks.

Winners: The House of Truth via pinfall (Feast Your Eyes)

Bob Evans turns on Cheeseburger after the match and the crowd is hating it. He's showered with boos.

- We get a Jay Lethal interview cut into by the masked KRD fellas.

Samoa Joe vs. Kyle O'Reilly (w/ Bobby Fish)

Joe gets welcomed back by the ROH crowd and gets hit by an absolutely crazy number of streamers. Joe starts off really aggressive after a great chain wrestling exchange, and blasts Kyle in the corner with a knee twice. Samoa Joe looks thrilled to be back in ROH as we go to commercial.

Back from the commercial, Joe slugs O'Reilly with another knee. Joe gets distracted by Bobby Fish, which sets up O'Reilly hitting Joe from behind. He goes to work on Joe's arm and locks on an armbar over the ropes. The attack continues, and Joe tries to turn the tides, but O'Reilly goes right back to the injured arm.

Joe manages two clotheslines and a big senton, but he can't get the three count. Joe follows up with a tilt-a-whirl slam and attempts a powerbomb, but is too hurt to finish it off. Samoa Joe locks on and STF, but O'Reilly makes it to the ropes as Joes grip is hindered by the injured arm. Joe tries a Muscle Buster, but it's countered into a guillotine, then transitioned to an armbar by O'Reilly. Joe manages to get to the ropes.

After the rope break Samoa Joe goes outside, but gets dropkicked. Back inside O'Reilly lands a brainbuster, but Joe kicks out at two and goes back to the armbar. Joe stacks O'Reilly and hits a big time enziguri. Joe follows up with knees and a Muscle Buster to finish a good match.

Winner: Samoa Joe via pinfall (Muscle Buster)

O'Reilly and Joe shake hands to close the show.
