WWE Royal Rumble: The New Day Vs. Tyson Kidd And Cesaro (Kickoff Pre-show)

- The 2015 WWE Royal Rumble Kickoff pre-show kicks off live from Philadelphia with Renee Young, Byron Saxton, Booker T and Corey Graves on the panel. We see the WrestleMania 31 sign hanging up in the Wells Fargo Center. They all hype tonight's show. Graves is wearing a tuxedo. They talk about the Rumble on social media tonight and we see a tweet from Hacksaw Jim Duggan, the first Rumble winner. Renee hypes tonight's 30-man main event and the WWE World Heavyweight Title Triple Threat. Renee brings up how The Rock revealed he was in town.

- Renee shows us Lana's tweet in response to The Rock. Saxton picks Bray Wyatt to win the Rumble tonight and a big chant for Booker T breaks out. Graves picks Roman Reigns to win, Booker picks Rusev and Renee picks Daniel Bryan. We go backstage to Tom Phillips in the social media lounge. He asks fans for hashtags and questions for Ryback, Erick Rowan and Dolph Ziggler, who will be in the lounge with him later on. We go back to the panel and they hype tonight's Divas tag team match. They talk about The Ascension vs. The New Age Outlaws next and we get a replay from RAW Reunion with The Ascension, The APA, The Outlaws and The nWo. We go backstage tonight to The Outlaws and Tom Phillips. Road Dogg says the Legends put a stitch in The Ascension on RAW and it continues tonight. The Outlaws aren't worried about The Ascension tonight but they do manage to get a WWE Network jingle in.

- We come back from commercials and get Booker T's pre-recorded interview with Shawn Michaels. HBK talked about winning the Royal Rumble and then the WWE Title at WrestleMania. Bryan asked Michaels about a man he once trained – Daniel Bryan. HBK talks about Bryan and Bray Wyatt, saying there are so many favorites to win. We go back to the panel for more discussion and another commercial break.

Big E and Kofi Kingston vs. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd

We come back and The New Day makes their way to the ring – Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E. Woods leads on the mic as they make their entrance. Out next comes Cesaro, Tyson Kidd, Natalya, Adam Rose and the Rosebuds.

Kidd starts off with Big E and they go at it. Big E tosses Kidd and taunts him. We've got Michael Cole, JBL and Jerry Lawler on commentary. Kidd with kicks but Big E fights him off. Big E with three backbreakers and a 2 count. Kofi tags in for some double teaming and a pin attempt. Cesaro tags in to a big pop.

Fans chant for Cesaro as he locks up with Kofi. They go to the corner and Big E comes in. Big E with shoulder thrusts on Cesaro for a 2 count. Kofi comes back in with another double team move and a 2 count. Kidd makes a tag and they both stomp on Kofi in the corner. Kidd and Cesaro keep Kofi in their corner with cheap shots and double teaming. More back and forth before taking another quick commercial break.

We come back to Cesaro manhandling Kofi as Big E looks on. Cesaro tags in Kidd and he comes in with a kick on Kofi for a 2 count. They both go down and in comes Big E. Cesaro also comes in. Big E runs over Cesaro as fans boo. Big E with a belly to belly suplex to more boos. Lots more back and forth and double teaming by both teams. Cesaro and Kidd hit a big double team superplex move but Kofi manages to kick out at 2. Cesaro gets caught cheating by the referee. Kofi rolls Kidd up but the referee is distracted and he kicks out at 2. Big E runs over Cesaro on the floor. Kidd applies the Sharpshooter on Kofi as the Rosebuds cheer from the stage. Big E runs in and breaks the Sharpshooter with a belly too belly. Fans boo. Cesaro runs in and takes out Big E with a big boot as fans cheer. Kofi sends Cesaro out of the ring. Rose gets on the apron and eats a Trouble In Paradise from Kofi. Kofi with a 2 count on Kidd but he gets sent into a big uppercut from Cesaro, who was standing on the floor. Kidd follows up with his finisher for the win.

Winners: Cesaro and Tyson Kidd

- After the match, Cesaro, Kidd, Natalya, Rose and the Rosebuds all celebrate on the ramp.

- We go back to the panel to discuss the match. The crowd is hype and starts another chant for Booker T. We go to more promos. Renee goes over their predictions again – Saxton picks Wyatt, Graves picks Reigns, Booker picks Rusev and Renee goes with Bryan. We get a look back at RAW Reunion and Sting's first-ever live RAW appearance. We go back to Tom Phillips in the social media lounge. He's with Ryback, Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan. One fan question is for Ryback, asking where his head was at while he was gone. The Network feed goes out but Ryback says he's hungrier now. Ziggler mentions how he doesn't root for John Cena often but he was rooting for Cena when their jobs were on the line. Rowan is asked how he felt missing out on earning a Rumble spot on SmackDown. Rowan takes his mask off and says The Authority keeps throwing stuff at him and frustration is starting to kick in a little bit. Rowan says it's not how you handle a situation, it's what you do about it. Phillips has one final question but the feed freezes again. There may be some competitive tension between Ziggler and Ryback. Phillips wishes Ryback and Ziggler good luck but Ziggler says they don't need it.

- We go back to the panel for more discussion. They air a video package for tonight's WWE World Heavyweight Title match. Graves predicts Lesnar will retain tonight. We get more hype from the panel and Renee shows us Vince McMahon's tweet showing The Rock and his mother at ringside earlier tonight. The panel plugs the Rumble and the WWE Network before wrapping the pre-show.
