Backstage Notes On Alberto's Lucha Underground Debut, Former TNA Knockout Declines Offer?, More

- Above are highlights from Wednesday's Lucha Underground episode on the El Rey Network.

- Former TNA Knockout Sarita, who works for Mexico's CMLL promotion as "Dark Angel" Sarah Stock, apparently turned down an offer from Lucha Underground. She recently returned to CMLL and that promotion doesn't allow their talents to work for Lucha Underground.

- As noted, AAA Mega Heavyweight Champion Alberto El Patron, the former Alberto Del Rio, made his Lucha Underground debut at last week's tapings and is back for this weekend's tapings. Del Rio had been in talks with the promotion but the actual contract wasn't signed until Wednesday, January 14th or right around that day. His debut came on Saturday, January 17th. Very few people knew a few days before the debut and were told to keep it quiet. Lucha Underground ended up announcing the debut via press release the next day.
