Source: ForbesForbes has an article here about SummerSlam ticket prices being among the cheapest on the secondary market in the past four years. The average ticket price for SummerSlam, which is taking place for the sixth year in a row at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, is $205.99. Last year, the average ticket price $213.71, while the average ticket price was around $250 in 2011 and 2012.
The article also noted that WWE has had a hard time creating new stars, noting that "at least one of the two participants in this year's main event, John Cena and Brock Lesnar, have been in a singles match in the main event of each SummerSlam since 2011."
