Around 40 wrestlers received tryouts with WWE on August 6th and August 7th in Melbourne. The tryouts were ran by NXT head trainer Bill DeMott.
The tryouts featured wrestlers from all over Australia and New Zealand. Two women worked the tryouts, one of who blew out hr knee.
The first day was all conditioning to see who was in shape. The second day talents did promo work, ring drills and some worked matches to be evaluated.
WWE's next tryout camp will take place at the Performance Center in Orlando in early September. Several top indie wrestlers have been invited to those tryouts.
