Jon Jones On Jimmy Kimmel Video, Daniel Cormier Talks Brawl, Possible Fight For Former UFC Champ

- UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones made the most of his trip to California this week, helping promote UFC 178 with his "brawl" vs. Daniel Cormier and appearing on numerous television shows. Jones was a guest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Wednesday night, and you can see a clip from the interview in the video above.

- Daniel Cormier stopped by the "UFC Tonight" stage to discuss his week, which included falling off a stage with UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. After the two went nose-to-nose during media days, they scuffled.

"I figured he was trying to intimidate me. He put his head down on my head and nudged me forward and I pushed him off me," Cormier said. "If a guy gets in your face, and makes contact, I respond. Was it the right thing to do? No. But if he did it again, I'd do the same exact thing. I believe it is mental warfare. If I allowed him to do that to me, he would have gotten a one-up on me, and I expected him to do the same thing to me."

Cormier, unbeaten in MMA and a former U.S. Olympic wrestler, added that he i s"searching for a guy the equal of me in the Octagon. I want that dogfight. Hopefully, Jon will be that guy."

- According to a report by "UFC Tonight," former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and Cub Swanson could meet in a title-eliminator contest later this year from Sweden. The report indicates that Swanson has warmed up to the idea of facing Edgar.

Rumors of a possible November or December meeting between Edgar and Swanson are also on the table, but if they meet in Sweden, it would take place October 4 from Stockholm. Edgar challenged Jose Aldo for the featherweight title upon entering the division, while Swanson is coming off a win over Jeremy Stephens.
