Update On WWE Trying To Keep Indie Companies And Conventions Away From WrestleMania 31

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

We noted before that WWE officials were trying to keep indie companies as far away from San Jose, California as they could for WrestleMania 31 weekend.

Word is that Highspots.com was able to book a local hotel for shows and a convention in the area, as did the WWN Live crew. Ring of Honor is still undecided about coming due to difficulty in securing a location.

WWE tried to lock everyone out of the area and no public facilities will rent to any wrestling groups. It's also said that San Jose State University isn't renting to any wrestling groups. Some of the indie groups may end up going to the more rural areas for buildings.
