A veteran of nearly thirty years, WWE superstar William Regal is regarded by many as one of the true legends of British wrestling. From the North Pier of Blackpool to giant arenas around the world, the gentleman villain of the grappling world has seen and done almost everything there is to see and do. Over the course of his career Mr Regal was won countless championships on nearly every continent and worked with a literal who's who of the wrestling business. From British wrestling stars such as Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks, Mark Rocco and Johnny Saint through international megastars like The Rock, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin and 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair through to current stars CM Punk, Daniel Bryan & John Cena.
A consumate entertainer, Mr Regal has proven his ability to hold audiences of any size in the palm of his hand time and time again. In the returning 'An Audience With A Wrestling Villain' fans have another opportunity to share some of the tales he's picked up along the way. Known as much for his rapier wit and way with words as his mastery of the mat, the former European, Intercontinental and Tag Team champion will provide an evening that no wrestling fan will want to miss.
This is not a live podcast or interview. This is quite simply William Regal on stage with a microphone in his hand and nothing between him and the fans in attendence. Simple and effective, it will make for first class entertainment.
Support will be provided by Chris Brooker & Billy Kirkwood with excerpts from their sell out Edinburgh Festival show 'I Am The Tag Team Champions' as well as variety star Mat Ricardo in London and comedian Jim Smallman in Leeds.
