MAIN CARD

Ovince St. Preux vs. Nikita Krylov

Round 1: Krylov looking for kicks early on. Preux takes Krylov down to the canvas. Preux has side control with Krylov holding onto the neck. Still on the ground and they push each other against the cage. Preux has the neck of Krylov and he goes to sleep from a von flue choke.

Jake Shields vs. Hector Lombard

Round 1: Both with early head shots and Lombard throws Shields to the ground with ease. Shields stands and Lombard pushes Shields down again. Lombard tagging Shields early in this fight. Shields fails to get the takedown and Lombard has him against the cage. Lombard with some shots in the clinch and Shields is bleeding from the side of the head. Back in the center of the Octagon and Lombard looks very poised with two minutes left in the round. Shields can't get another takedown and Lombard with lots of offense. Lombard is on top of Shields with a minute to go in the round. The final minute sees little action as Shields is just trying to survive.

Round 2: Shields attempts some kicks and Lombard counters with shots to the head. Lombard puts Shields on the ground once again. Shields pulls full guard as Lombard nails blows to the body. They're against the cage and Shields is looking for a guillotine choke from the ground. Shields doesn't get the submission and the referee stands them up as the round reaches the halfway point. Shields goes for a takedown and it's stuffed. Shields is on the ground and Lombard lets him stand. They circle each other and Lombard with a huge judo throw as he goes five for five with takedowns. The round ends with them on the canvas.

Round 3: Shields must stop this fight if he wants to win. Lombard doesn't appear as full of energy like he was in previous rounds, but he's not looking gassed. The round is paused for a moment as Lombard kicks Shields below the belt. The round resumes and again Shields can't get a takedown. Lombard gets a takedown and they're against the cage with three minutes left in the fight. The referee has them stand as the round reaches the halfway point. Shields fails with a kick and takedown. Lombard is out powering Shields with ease. 90 seconds to go and they're still on the ground. 60 seconds left and the referee has them stand. Shields' face is a mess as he looks for some kicks. Lombard isn't doing much and Shields gets a guillotine choke on the ground with about 15 seconds left. The submission looks tight, but there's not enough time left in the round as the bell sounds.

Diego Sanchez vs. Myles Jury

Round 1: Sanchez has his typical crazy face on as he keeps his head low to start the fight. Jury with a nice head kick and Sanchez asks for another. Lots of movement from the two and Sanchez tags Jury early. They're standing against the cage as Sanchez tries to put this fight on the ground. He can't and they're back in the center of the Octagon. Jury catches a kick of Sanchez, but can't do anything with it. Lots of trash talk from Sanchez, who is throwing is hands down to egg Jury on. Jumping front kick by Sanchez and Jury responds with another head kick. Jury gets a takedown and has the back of Sanchez, but he can't do much as the round ends.

Round 2: Big body kick by Sanchez and Jury gets an elbow to the head. Sanchez is bleeding from under his left eye. They trade offense inside the center of the Octagon. Sanchez is pushing the pace, but Jury is controlling the fight. They scramble with two minutes left in the round and Sanchez's face is a bloody mess. Jury with a punch to the head and gets a takedown on Sanchez. On the ground and Sanchez is looking for a guillotine choke. Sanchez doesn't have the submission in good enough and Jury gets out with 30 seconds left. Nice uppercut by Jury as the round ends.

Round 3: Sanchez with a flurry of punches to start the round. Jury doing a good job of not letting Sanchez dictate the pace of the fight. Sanchez is trying to throw heavy blows as he's likely behind on the scorecard. They grapple in the center of the Octagon with two minutes to go. Jury pushes them against the cage and releases the grapple with 90 seconds. Sanchez charges and Jury gets a takedown. Sanchez on his back with 30 seconds left. Sanchez tries to grab a limb and gets the head with seconds left. It's too late and the fight ends. They hug after the bell sounds.

Carlos Condit vs. Tyron Woodley

Round 1: Woodley with a big right hand early in the opening round. Woodley gets a second good right hand and Condit was a little wobbly from those shots. They're against the cage with Woodley closing the distance. They're in the clinch and Condit is trying to escape with body shots. Quick uppercut by Woodley and they break the clinch. Back in the center of the Octagon and Condit tagged Woodley with a right hand. Woodley shakes off the blow and gets a takedown. They're back standing with Woodley nailing some big shots and he gets a second takedown. Spinning backfist by Woodley and Condit pushed through it as the bell sounds.

Round 2: Woodley is a little slow to start the second round. Woodley gets a takedown and they trade some quick shots while on the canvas. Condit appears to have been injured on the takedown. The referee has them stand with three minutes left. Woodley with a kick to Condit's left knee and that's it. Condit grabs his right knee, which buckled, and he's hurt pretty bad.

Johny Hendricks vs. Robbie Lawler for the vacant welterweight championship is up next

Round 1: This fight could end with one punch, so don't blink. Lawler is the early aggressor, but Hendricks won't be outshined and throws a kick. Hendricks has Lawler against the cage and connects with some knees. They're out of the clinch and both are throwing punches, but are careful to not get caught by one. Hendricks is throwing lots of kicks with Lawler focusing on his boxing. Lawler is smiling as Hendricks continues to land kicks. Hendricks looks for a takedown with 30 seconds left in the round. Nothing happens with the takedown.

Round 2: Lawler's right knee is swollen from checking a leg kick. Hendricks pushes forward with a right hand and another leg kick, which seems to have hurt Lawler. Both are still looking for a one shot knockout. Lawler looks to be hurt as this fight gets deeper. Lawler stuffs a takedown by Hendricks. Lawler is standing in front of Hendricks, who is throwing shots and taking some as well. Lots of hand movement from these two and a nice right hook by Lawler as the round ends.

Round 3: Lawler is starting to throw kicks and Hendricks continues to throw combinations of punches and leg kicks. Nice uppercut by Hendricks, which is matched by a jab from Lawler. Lawler hurts Hendricks with some head shots. Hendricks is hurt, but is standing at the halfway point of the round. Hendricks is in trouble and attempts a takedown. He doesn't get the takedown and the crowd is standing. Lawler gets more head shots and Hendricks looks to have recovered. Hendricks with his own jabs, but he misses a big right hand. Lawler did some damage in this round.

Round 4: We enter the first of two championship rounds. They continue to stand in front of each other and trade head shots. Lawler appears to be getting the better of the two. Hendricks' nose is cut and he can't get a takedown. Hendricks is bleeding bad from his right eye as Lawler looks to have great cardio. Hendricks won't be stopped and presses forward. Good uppercut from Hendricks and Lawler continues to throw jabs to the head. This has become somewhat of a boxing match with a minute to go in this round. Hendricks is back to throwing the kick. Hendricks gets a takedown and looks for a guillotine choke as the round ends.

Round 5: This fight is close as we enter the final five minutes. Hendricks pushes Lawler against the cage and tries to get him down with knees to the leg. Lawler won't go down and they remain against the cage with three minutes left in the fight. The referee has them break and stand in the center of the Octagon. More head shots by Lawler and some head shots and kicks by Hendricks. Two minutes to go and they trade more shots with Lawler looking to get the better. Hendricks with his own big head shots as Lawler looks wobbly with 90 seconds to go. They are standing in front of each other and Hendricks looks to get the better of this trade. Hendricks gets a takedown with 45 seconds to go. Lawler tries to stand with 20 seconds left in this fight. They're on the ground, throwing punches and Hendricks looks to have done enough to win the round. Real close fight.
