TNA Live Event Results From Thibodaux (8/3): Kurt Angle Match Nixed, Chris Sabin Defends, More

Thanks to WrestlingINC.com reader Neal for sending in these results from last night's TNA live event in Thibodaux, LA:

TNA house show was pretty decent, with probably about 800 to 1000 fans attending. The night started out with Jeremy Borash offering backstage passes and Mr. Anderson came out. Anderson said no one will go backstage. Finally, Jeff Hardy came out challenged him to a match, and if he won, people can go backstage.

* Jeff Hardy defeated Mr. Anderson. The match was pretty decent.

* Gail Kim defeated ODB.

* James Storm defeated Christopher Daniels via DQ after Kazarian interfered. A tag match was made, which was next...

* James Storm & Gunner defeated Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian. Daniels was ripping on an obese woman in the crowd who was saying that she wanted to kick his butt. The original card had Kurt Angle facing Kazarian, but that match was nixed with Angle's arrest on Thursday night.

* AJ Styles defeated Devon (w/ Knux).

* TNA World Heavyweight Champion Chris Sabin defeated Bobby Roode to retain his title. Mr. Anderson interfered near the end of the match and took a nasty bump on the steel steps. Devon and Knux interfered after the match, but Jeff Hardy made the save and cleared the ring. After the show was over, photos were taken with Sabin and Hardy.

God bless and keep wrestling alive. I loved TNA and can't wait for another show in the Louisiana area!
