TNA Impact Results - Sting Returns, Aces & 8's Member Revealed & More, Sound Off With Your Thoughts

- Impact begins with a recap of recent weeks. The voice-over guy says, "It's 1.3.13. Will Sting get vengeance on Aces & 8's?"

- Pyro goes off with crowd shots. JB is in the ring to present the award for the 2012 TNA Wrestler of the Year. A loud "Hardy" chant breaks out. JB introduces the finalists and they come on the stage one by one. Bully Ray followed by James Storm; they fist-bump. Austin Aries is out next and then Bobby Roode. The last wrestler is Jeff Hardy and he comes out to an ovation. A drum roll plays as JB begins to read the winner. Aries and Roode argue down the ramp as both think they have won. JB announces Jeff Hardy as the winner to the chagrin of Aries and Roode. Hardy slaps hands with Storm and walks down past Aries and Roode and gets in the ring to accept his trophy.

Hardy begins to give a speech and says this means as much as the title to him but an angry Bobby Roode gets in the ring and has something to say about it. Aries gets in the ring and says this is rigged. They crowd tries to drown him out with "Hardy" chants. Aries and Roode both put an elbow on the trophy and claim it as their own. Hardy stops the back-and-forth and says that at Genesis he will face them both for the title. He flubs the line and says that 2012 will be the year of the enigma. Roode and Aries both attack Hardy from behind. Hardy ducks and Aries hits Roode with the trophy. Hardy gives the Twist of Fate to Aries and holds up his bent trophy.

- We go to the back as James Storm is interrupted by Kazarian and Daniels who imitate his accent about being down on his luck. Storm cuts a promo on them dropping social media names like kicking them in their Twitter and punching them in the Facebook. We go to break.

- James Storm is in the ring as we return, awaiting Kazarian and Daniels. Daniels takes off his jacket and it appears he will face Storm. Kaz jumps Storm from behind and the bell rings.

James Storm vs. Kazarian

Storm comes back and throws Kazarian out of the ring. Storm stalks Daniels on the floor and Kaz gets the upper hand. Daniels kicks Storm in the aisle behind the ref's back and sends him back in. Storm makes a comeback and hits the Closing Time and a Russian Leg Sweep. Storm hits an elbow from up top to Kaz halfway across the ring. Daniels involvement allows Kaz to hit a vicious front dropkick to Storm in the corner. Storm fights him off with another Closing Time and looks for the Last Call but Daniels gets on the apron and Storm hits the Enzuigiri. Storm hits the Last Call to Kaz in the ring for the win.

- We go to Aces & 8's as Devon continues to convince Mr. Anderson to join their team. There are girls everywhere and Anderson says he really is enjoying the recruitment process as one girl strokes a beer bottle in his lap. Doc is pissed and he says Sting returns tonight and they need an answer now. Anderson says they need to make sure that none of them show Sting an ounce of fear. Devon laughs and Anderson hands Doc his hammer. They go to find what Sting has to offer and Devon can't find his bat.

- Kenny King stops Kid Kash in the back and says he remembers watching him on VHS. They both agree that they will meet each other in the finals of the X-Division tournament after winning their respective matches. Kash says he's been champ twice and holds up his fingers. King holds his up and says, "Peace" and walks off. Kash says he got half of that right.

- Aces & 8's Doc makes his way to the ring and he gets in with hammer in hand. He taunts Sting and asks where he is. Doc says it's 1.3.13 but he doesn't feel like a marked man like Sting suggested. Doc flips his demeanor as he stares at his hammer and screams that Sting is wasting his time. We go to a wide shot as a bat falls in the ring from the ceiling. Doc goes crazy as he masks his fear with anger and tells Sting to "Come on!" We cut to a sudden commercial.

- Brooke Hogan arrives in the back and she is hounded by the interviewer. She says she hasn't talked to her dad since she "kissed Bully" but says she is on her way to see him and we'll see what happens on TV just like we always do.

X-Division Tournament: Christian York vs. Kid Kash

Kash attacks York immediately before York even enters the ring all the way. Kash hits a springboard Hurricanrana from inside the ring to the floor. York comes back and hits an Enzuigiri from the apron and a big boot to the face in the ring. York throws Kash from a half nelson. Kash regains the advantage and goes for a moonsault in the corner but York gets his knees up and gets 2. Kash gets 2 off an inside cradle. They trade counters and York hits a Mood Swing out of nowhere for the win.

Winner by pin: Christian York

- Chavo & Hernandez are in the back. Chavo cuts a promo and says Joey Ryan always hides behind someone but Chavo has his own big man in Hernandez. He says they aren't afraid of anybody.

- Back from a break as Chavo and Hernandez come to the ring. Matt Morgan is introduced with Joey Ryan. Morgan has a sling on his right arm and he says he was injured throwing weights around and offers a reluctant Joey Ryan to take his place.

Hernandez vs. Joey Ryan

Hernandez takes control with a backbreaker and Morgan distracts him from the floor. Morgan enters the ring and hits the discus clothesline with the 'hurt' arm to Hernandez and a Carbon Footprint to Chavo. The finish is not announced.

- Hulk Hogan is on his way to the ring.

- Kurt Angle, Wes Briscoe, Garrett Bischoff, and Samoa Joe are in the locker room. Garrett and Wes want to be in their corner and Kurt tries to tell them that it's a cage match and that he and Joe got it. Kurt calms Joe down and says Garrett and Wes are just trying to help. Kurt tells Joe he doesn't know what is up with Sting but he made a resolution to unmask every member of Aces & 8's and it begins tonight. Joe and Kurt shake.

- Gail Kim, Tessmacher, Tara, and Mickie James stretch in the back.

- We go to a video package of the Bully-Brooke situation.

- Hulk Hogan makes his entrance to the Impact Zone and he looks all business. Hogan says he's sorry for missing the show last week but he was caught off-guard when he saw Brooke and Bully kissing. He invites Bully and also Brooke to the ring. Brooke and Bully walk down side by side and get in the ring. Hogan says he's been trying to figure out the real Bully for months. He simply asks Brooke and Bully, "Why?" Bully tells him that he should have come clean about Brooke. Hogan says he's been trying to tell everyone who will listen that Bully is no good and doesn't even belong in the business. Hogan says if it was 20 years ago then this would already be done but now as the GM, he will suspend him and he tells Brooke to get the hell out of his ring too. Bully and Brooke leave in disbelief. Bully asks Brooke what is wrong with her father as they walk up the ramp.

- We see more footage of Joseph Park at OVW. His trainer says he has passion and they can't get rid of him and that he is actually impressed with him. Park talks about the tapes that he's been watching including his brother Abyss. His trainer tells him he has heart and wishes him luck.

Gail Kim & Tara vs. Mickie James & Miss Tessmacher

Kim starts off strong with Tessmacher and Tara provides an assist from the apron. Tara tags in and sends Tessmacher into the ropes and Mickie tags herself in off the back. Things break down on the floor and Kim and Tara are sent head-first into each other. Kim and Tara double team Mickie in the ring behind referee Taryn's back. We go to break.

- Mickie James makes the hot tag to Tessmacher and she turns it up on Tara. Kim hits a cheap shot to Tessmacher from behind and Tara takes control. Tara hits a backbreaker on Tessmacher for 2. More double teaming from the heels. Kim's in now and she drives Tessmacher across her knee for 2. Tessmacher almost makes it to her partner but Kim pulls Mickie off the apron. Tessmacher plants Tara on her face and tags Mickie who pounds away on Kim. Mickie hits a neckbreaker but Tara makes the save. Things break down and Jesse pulls Tara out of the ring but Tessmacher hits a dive onto both of them to the floor. Mickie hits a DDT on Kim in the ring for the win.

- Doc is still mad as he sits across Devon and the two main masked guys. He says their masks must remain and they will protect them with their lives. One guy shows a knife as we go to break.

- ODB talks about Aces & 8's in the back. Eric Young is doing rehab and she will be by his side when he returns.

- The cage is setup around the ring as we go to a replay of the Hardy trophy acceptance from earlier.

- Aries and Roode confront Hogan in the back about the Triple Threat match that Hardy made earlier. Hogan says it's an elimination match so they have nothing to worry about. They still don't want the other in the match. Hogan says they must team next week to face Hardy and a partner. They are still irate and Hogan kicks them out of his office.

- Aces & 8's comes to the ring. Samoa Joe comes out followed by Kurt Angle.

Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe vs. Aces & 8's

Doc slams the door on Angle upon his entrance and lays him out on the floor. Doc shuts the door and locks it, leaving Joe in there by himself with Devon and the large masked man in a lumberjack shirt. Doc continues to take it to Angle on the floor. Joe is handling himself just fine so far. Devon tackles Joe from his peripheral and they beat him down as the masked guy holds Joe for Devon. Kurt has semi-recovered and tries to shake the door open but Devon kicks him through the cage as we go to commercial.

- Joe fights off both men as we return to action. Kurt Angle scales the cage but is pulled off by Doc. Angle lays him out and retrieves the key and gets in the ring. Angle explodes on Devon and the masked man. Angle hits a missile dropkick and goes to remove his mask. Doc opens the door and Angle charges at him but Doc slams it shut on his head. Angle is busted up in the forehead. Devon comes off the top with a headbutt but Joe moves out of the way. Angle gets up and hits his 3 German Suplexes on Devon and one on the masked guy. Joe sends Devon face-first into the cage. Angle hits the Angle Slam on the masked guy after an atomic drop from Joe for the win.

Winners by pin: Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe

Doc gets in the ring and begins to beat Angle and Joe as the rest of Aces & 8's files into the cage for a beatdown. Mr. Anderson watches from the floor. The crowd chants for Sting. Sting walks down the ramp with his bat and takes down Aces & 8's one member at a time. Doc ducks out from a bat shot but the big masked guy is left alone. Angle calls for it and he unmasks the guy. It's Mike Knox and Tenay acknowledges that and even mentions WWE. The other members try to cover his face as they walk through the crowd. Angle, Sting, and Joe stand tall in the ring.
