ROH News: New Matches Announced For January 5th TV Tapings In Baltimore

- On January 5th, 2013, for the first Ring Of Honor TV tapings of the New Year from Baltimore, the Top Prospect Tournament is set to take place alongside the fallout from Final Battle 2012. However, additional matches have just been announced that are set to deliver one amazing show.

- ROH World TV Champion Adam Cole will defend his title against BJ Whitmer. After Final Battle 2012, both Mike Bennett and Matt Hardy voiced their interest in a shot at Cole's TV Title as a result of their victories (Jerry Lynn for Bennett, and Adam Cole for Hardy). However, seeing as ROH Match Maker Nigel McGuinness was very displeased with the way both men won their respective matches, McGuinness decided to reward someone who has shown strength and determination in his matches against S.C.U.M.: BJ Whitmer.

- Michael Elgin will take on Mike Bennett. Elgin is looking to get back into the title picture in addition to getting another shot at Roderick Strong, who beat him rather questionably in New York. A win over Bennett would definitely thrust Elgin back into the TV Title scene.

- MsChif is set to do battle against Athena.

- A Four Team Tag Gauntlet will take place.

- Matt Hardy will be in attendance for a one on one match against an unnamed competitor.

- Finally, Nigel McGuinness is set to address the ROH fan base about the Jay Lethal situation at Final Battle 2012.

Tickets for the January 5th ROH TV taping in Baltimore are on sale now.
