WWE Live Event Results From Bloomington, IL (6/24) - Punk Vs. Bryan Vs. Kane, Sheamus Vs. Del Rio

Thanks to WrestlingINC.com reader Brennan Wielgopolan for sending in these results from last night's SmackDown live event in Bloomington, IL:

It was a solid show. The crowd was small with a good amount of empty seats left in the arena. WWE continued the trend of fan engagement by texting match stipulations. You could also send in text messages to be displayed on the video board. The matches were good, especially the headliners. Here is the rundown:

Sin Cara defeated Hunico.

The Usos defeated Titus O'Neil and Darren Young.

Antonio Cesaro defeated Tyson Kidd.

Alicia Fox defeated Natalya after guest referee Kaitlyn slapped Natalya and Alicia Fox picked up the quick reverse pin.

Heath Slater said he was embarrassed by Cyndi Lauper and was interrupted by Ryback before he could finish. Ryback disposed of him in minutes then got the crowd chanting "Feed me more."

Teddy Long came out and introduced the World Heavyweight Title match between Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio. The match stipulation was a street fight after fan texting in the arena chose street fight by a large margin over 2 out of 3 falls. The interactive moves seem to be working with the fans – there was a large buzz about it by fans in our section. Del Rio and Sheamus was probably the best match of the night. Del Rio controlled the majority of the match and really embraced the heel treatment from the fans. Sheamus retained the title after he ducked a chair shot from Del Rio that hit Ricardo Rodriguez standing on the apron. Del Rio turned around and was hit with a Brogue Kick from Sheamus for the win. Sheamus got a large pop and signed some autographs on the way backstage.

Damien Sandow defeated Yoshi Tatsu.

Christian retained the Intercontinental Title by defeating Cody Rhodes. Rhodes missed a moonsault and Christian hit him with a Spear for the pin.

The main event featured Daniel Bryan, Kane and CM Punk in a Triple Threat match for the WWE Title. The crowd was really into the Bryan "Yes" chants, but the biggest pop of the night came when Punk was introduced. WWE played off of Punk being from nearby Chicago. Punk and Bryan went after Kane and went back and forth hitting Kane with punches and kicks while the crown chanted "Yes" for Bryan and "No" for Punk. Punk hit an elbow off the top rope on Kane but the three count was broken up by Bryan. Punk the knocked Bryan out of the ring while Kane got up and knocked Punk to the mat. A.J.'s music hit and she came out and ran around the ring and toward the back. Kane stared toward the stage and turned around to Bryan hitting from the top rope. Punk grabbed Bryan and landed the GTS. for the win. Afterwards, Punk thanked the crowd.

Good show. Fans saw a solid lineup despite the decimated Smackdown roster, and got their money's worth.
