'WWE Extreme Rules' Results New champion crowned, Triple H stretchered out

WWE Monday Night Raw In Las Vegas

The following is from WrestlingINC.com's live, match-by-match coverage of WWE Extreme Rules.

Street Fight
Sheamus vs. Triple H

Triple H's music starts playing and we're apparently off. His music is going off for awhile, but he doesn't appear. The cut to the back, and HHH and Sheamus are already battling backstage. Sheamus nails The Game a couple of times with a pipe, laying out HHH. So it appears that the street fight will happen later in the show.

ShowMiz makes their way to the ring for a promo. The Miz says that Bret Hart has to say that ShowMiz is the greatest tag team in WWE history, and he will make that statement tomorrow on RAW. He then said there is a lack of competition, and they want some. Teddy Long comes to the ramp and says his hands are full with what happened with HHH and Sheamus, but said that he has a match for ShowMiz and they will face a team of his choosing. If Long's team wins, then they will get a shot at the tag titles. Miz starts dissing Long, and Long then said he's adding another tag team into the mix. Miz kept talking, and Long then said he's going to make it three teams. Miz keeps talking, and before Long makes it four, Show covers the Miz's mouth. Long says the team that beats ShowMiz gets a title shot tomorrow night on RAW, but if ShowMiz wins, then they deserve to be called the greatest. R-Truth's music and he and John Morrison are apparently first.

ShowMiz vs. R-Truth and John Morrison

Morrison went for a cover right off the bat on the Miz, but only got two. Morrison and Miz started the match with Miz getting the better of Morrison. Morrison gained the advantage and tagged in Truth. Truth and Morrison did some great double team moves on before Miz tagged in Big Show, who dominated Truth, allowing the champions to gain the advantage.

Morrison tagged in, and Show continued to dominate. Morrison got to the top rope, and Show went for a chokeslam, but Morrison turned it into an armbar on the ropes. Morrison wouldn't release the hold since he was on the ropes, and the referee called for the bell to disqualify Truth and Morrison. Mark Henry's music hits and he and MVP are next.

ShowMiz vs. MVP and Mark Henry

MVP and Henry dominate early. MVP hits the playmaker on Miz, but Show, who was on the outside, nails MVP with a right hand. Miz makes the cover and gets the pin. The Hart Dynasty's music hits and they come out with Bret Hart and Natalya.

ShowMiz vs. The Hart Dynasty

With Show outside the ring, The Hart Dynasty quickly hit the Hart attack on Miz and get the three count to get the tag title shot tomorrow on RAW.

The Hart Dynasty defeated ShowMiz to become the number one contenders.

Todd Grisham gives an update on HHH from the back and says it's unsure if the match will still happen later tonight.

CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio

Punk dominated the opening moments of the match, with members of the SES interfering at different points. Punk dominated Mysterio and went for several pinfall attempts, with Mysterio continually kicking out at two.

At one point, Punk went for the GTS, but Mysterio was able to power out of it and went for the 619. When he hit the ropes, Serena grabbed Mysterio's foot. The referee proceeded to send both Luke Gallows and Serena to the back. While this was going on, Mysterio nailed Punk outside the ring with a dropkick, followed by an Asai moonsault. Mysterio rolled Punk back in the ring for a two count. Mysterio continued on offense, and managed to get a couple more two counts.  Mysterio came off on Punk with a splash off of the ropes, but Punk timed a dropkick into the ribs of Mysterio to regain the advantage.
