In an interview with Mirror.co.uk's ringside blog, WWE Hall of Famer Bret "Hitman" Hart told writer Christopher Smith that while he liked the movie "The Wrestler," he doesn't think it did much to improve the public's perception of the wrestling industry. "It really took it back to where it wouldn't make you proud if your kid came up to you and said, 'Dad I want to be a Wrestler.' That movie would make someone go: 'I'd rather you do anything, I'd rather you be a porno star than a pro wrestler.' I don't think wrestling gets a fair shake that way. When it finished you didn't have any respect for wrestling." To watch Smith's interview with the Hitman, visit Mirror.co.uk.
