Georgia Passes Wrestling Bill, The Hogan/Bischoff Project, Kim Kardashian, More

  • The Georgia state Senate passed bill 413 (the bill that included regulations on professional wrestling in the state) with a vote of 49 to 6 yesterday. The bill did undergo some revisions yesterday morning before it was voted on, however, there did not appear to be any changes to the pro wrestling section.   • We are now able to confirm that CMT is the cable network that has picked up on Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Wrestling reality television series. As we noted yesterday, the show will be produced by Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey and the first season will be taped this summer in Los Angeles, California. The series will have eight episodes with a live 2 hour finale. The casting call that they have put out for the show calls for "adventurous celebrities."
  • Reader Nate sent word that Kim Kardashian was on MTV's TRL on Monday and said that she will be appearing at WrestleMania XXIV during the BunnyMania lumberjack match along with Snoop Dogg.
  • Men's Fitness has a new interview with John Cena now online. In it, Cena talks about his past as a bodybuilder, what type of music he listens to while he works out, his favorite type of music, and more. Cena also talks in detail about performance enhancing drugs in sports and Roger Clemens and the MLB steroid scandal.
