The Latest Update On Jeff Hardy's Court Date Yesterday
The Latest Update On Jeff Hardy's Court Date Yesterday
According to The Fayetteville Observer, Jeff Hardy's probable cause hearing yesterday was continued to Wednesday December 2nd. Hardy was not at the hearing, but his lawyer, Jeff Van Camp, told the Observer that Hardy was going to appear, but that he didn't due to drug test results from a lab not coming in. If the determination is made that Jeff likely committed the crimes, the case would then move to the Grand Jury, where they will review the evidence and make a decision on whether or not to indict Hardy. Here are the charges he faces:

* Felony possession of cocaine.
* Felony drug trafficking of opium
* Felony possession with intent to redistribute a Schedule III drug (two counts).
* Maintaining a dwelling for drug use and/or distribution.
* Possession of drug paraphernalia. (misdemeanor)

If Jeff gets indicted, the case will move to Superior Court to be tried. This is unless he makes a plea bargain with the prosecution.
