Major TNA Slammiversary Discount, Taz On Angle, Bischoff, More
TNA Wrestling issued the following press release this morning, announcing that the company will be offering $7 tickets for next month's Slammiversary PPV: DETROIT, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling is offering an unprecedented $7 ticket plan in honor of its "Slammiversary 7" live pay-per-view event Sunday June 21, at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Michigan. TNA President Dixie Carter confirmed today that a limited number of special $7 "Slammiversary 7" tickets will be sold to celebrate the event. "In honor of TNA's seventh anniversary, we're happy to offer tickets to 'Slammiversary 7' starting at $7 while supplies last," Carter said. "We know this is a tough time economically for everyone. TNA Wrestling has always enjoyed success in Detroit and Michigan, and 'Slammiversary' will mark the first time TNA has brought a pay-per-view event to the same city twice. We believe in Detroit and its great pro wrestling fans." "Slammiversary 7" will mark the 7th anniversary of TNA Wrestling and TNA's return to the Motor City area. TNA took its live pay-per-view events out of the "iMPACT Zone" in Orlando, Florida and on the road to Novi, Michigan for "Bound For Glory" in 2006. The stars of "TNA iMPACT!" (Thursdays, 9 p.m. ET/PT, Spike TV) will headline "Slammiversary 7," including Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, "The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe, "The Icon" Sting, Detroit native Kevin Nash, University of Michigan alum Scott Steiner, Booker T, Team 3D, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and many more. Tickets for "Slammiversary 7" are on sale at The Palace of Auburn Hills Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations and online at www.ticketmaster.com.

Taz has a new Q&A posted on his Facebook page, discussing his career defining moment, Michael Cole, working with JR and the King and more. Here is an excerpt…3- Brendan Reid What are your thoughts on Kurt Angle? When do you think he will get the respect he deserves and be mentioned in the same group as Flair, HBK, Guerrero ect.?? ****When?? Serious?? I think Kurt has nothing but respect from his peers and I would strongly assume from you the fans NOW! How the heck does someone not respect this guy!?! Besides reaching to pinnacle in the grueling world of amateur wrestling Angle is a multi time World Champion on every level in the Pro Wrestling industry....so in my book Kurt Angle is in a class by himself!
