Orton was able to both Triple H's attempt a pedigree on the announce table and dropped Triple H with a DDT face first on the outside of the ring. Orton got back in the ring and the referee counted 9 before Triple H was able to get to his feet.
Orton then removed some padding from the ring floor, exposing the concrete. He then went for an RKO onto the concrete, but Triple H put on the brakes and shoved Orton into the ring post. They ended up back in the ring and Orton continued to work over HHH. Orton then got the ring steps in the ring and nailed HHH in the head with them, but HHH got up again at 9. Orton grabbed a cord from under the ring and started choking out HHH with it. He let go and then went for an RKO, but HHH shoved him outside of the ring while he was in the air.
Outside of the ring the referee counted 7 but HHH stood Orton up and went on the offensive. Orton looked legitimately hurt from the fall. HHH went under the ring and grabbed a sledgehammer and nailed Orton with it. The referee counted 10 and The Game wins it.
Winner: Triple H
Officials attended to Orton outside the ring and Jim Ross noted that Orton may have broken his collarbone.
Another promo for 'Night Of Champions' aired.
Orton was still being attended to and he got up, favoring his left arm. His collarbone looked legitimately injured, and it seems like the match was ended prematurely. The fans were seemingle cheering for Orton as he left the ring but Orton shouted at the crowd to 'Shut The F*** Up'.
A lengthy video package aired for the Undertaker - Edge match so they're clearly stalling with the last match ending early.
TLC match for World Heavyweight Championship
Edge vs. Undertaker
As Edge made his way to the ring, Michael Cole remarked that Edge has been in almost every TLC match in history. Undertaker made his way to the ring with his standard 'B' show entrance (no druids or special effects).
Undertaker gained control of the match early throwing Edge around the ring and even hitting old school. Taker went to the outside grabbing a chair, but Edge dropkicked the chair into Taker's midsection as Undertaker was getting back into the ring. Edge then went to the outside and stacked two tables on top of each other before being attacked by Taker again and thrown into the ring steps.
The two traded the advantage several times once back in the ring. They later ended up back out of the ring with Edge using the ladder to his advantage. Edge then grabbed a chair and nailed Taker with a big unprotected chairshot to the head. He then started setting up a table and nailed Taker with another huge unprotected chairshot to the head. I can't believe how often those are still used. He then set Taker up on a table outside and hit a splash on Taker through the table.
