A promo for WWE Night Of Champions aired.

Batista was shown in the back and Randy Orton approached him. Orton wished Batista well but Batista ignored him. Orton brought up the draft and said it would be great if they were to reform Evolution with Orton at the front and Batista by his side. Batista didn't say anything and just walked off.

The AT&T Mobile Vote is asking who will win the stretcher match, HBK or Batista.

I Quit Match
Beth Phoenix vs. Melina
One of Melina's paparazzi tripped while taking Melina's pics. Melina patted him on the back before getting into the ring.

Phoenix backed Melina up early but Melina attacked quickly, getting Phoenix in a guillotine. Phoenix was able to power out and get control.

The two traded the advantage a few times with Phoenix mostly dominating. At one point Phoenix got Melina in the same backbreaker that she got both Melina and Mickie James in at Judgment Day She then dropped Melina and put her in an armbar.

Phoenix continued to punish Melina, however Melina was able to gain the advantage for several minutes, including getting Phoenix in an armbar. Phoenix was able to finally power out and hit a running powerbomb on Melina.

Phoenix put Melina in a couple of different submission moves before finally getting a modified camel clutch on Melina causing Melina to quit. One of the better WWE women's matches in awhile.

John Cena was shown in the back with the doctor when Mickie James came in. They started talking when Mike Adamle came out of the bathroom and asked if Cena and James would want to come out with him later tonight. They declined and Adamle left Cena with JBL's Mamma Juanna energy drink.

Edge was shown in the back.

HBK is leading in the AT&T mobile vote with 59% to Batista's 41%.

Stretcher Match
Shawn Michaels vs. Batista
HBK came to the ring first, with Batista out next. Batista gained control early, and took Michaels outside of the ring and dropped him onto the stretcher. HBK turned it around and threw Batista into the ring steps and then into the ring post. Michaels continued to work away at Batista, even pushing the stretcher into Batista several times.

Michaels tried to put Batista onto the stretcher and Batista tried to block. Michaels got a chokehold on Batista and got him on the stretcher and choked him out. Michaels then started wheeling Batista to the back but Batista got up, kicked Michaels away and got the advantage.
