As noted late last night here on the website, Gail Kim has not signed a contract with WWE yet. She is still a free agent. Kim recently tried reaching out to TNA President Dixie Carter in hopes of striking a deal to return to the company. Friends of Kim are saying that she felt terrible about leaving TNA, but felt she had to due to the huge discrepancy between the two offers. WWE offered Kim at least three times what TNA was offering, and that probably doesn't include bonuses from pay-per-view appearances, house show appearances, toys, etc. Kim did indeed meet with WWE officials but has been hesitant to sign a deal due to her happiness in TNA. Both Kim & Carter were said to be unhappy with how reps from both sides handled the negotiations. The two have decided to see if they can work things out themselves. Additionally, there was some backlash among the TNA wrestlers - from both men and women - that the company didn't give Kim a fair offer. Kim is quite popular behind the scenes not to mention that her colleagues have great respect for her.
