RVD/Marijuana, FCW's TV Slot?, WWE/Hurricane Ike, Edge, Loads More
Rob Van Dam has put up a new edition of RVDTV on his website. Here's the episode description: Learn about the process of getting your medical marijuana card and obtaining cannabis legally.

WWE's developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling will start taping for TV again next month. WWE is expected to send more big name talent to the shows to increase attendance. They had been taping all shows for in-house purposes, but still didn't have a TV deal locally. The belief among talent right now is that a TV deal has been reached, but no one seems to be aware of any particulars.

WWE sent The Miz, John Morrison, Layla and Funaki to Houston on September 24 to help with the Hurricane Ike relief efforts. This was part of the Houston Food Bank.

Edge recently made an appearance on The Last Resort show on Real Rock 101.1 WJRR in Orlando talking about Smackdown's jump to MyNetworkTV, his heel character in WWE, if he is worried if people spit in his food because of his character and more.

Devin Cutting sent these notes in: The Score in Canada has announced that Smackdown will continue to air on The Score every Friday night. Ads about Smackdown's move in the US caused many Canadian fans to contact The Score to inquire about Smackdown's future in Canada. Brock Lesnar's UFC debut against Frank Mir is one of the fights on the September 27th/28th edition of the syndicated TV program "UFC Wired".

Devin Cutting also sent this in: WWE is changing their TV taping format for a few weeks in November. The ECW tapings will move to Mondays and WWE will decrease the number of Smackdown tapings by doing 2 episodes in one night. In other words, Raw and ECW are being taped weekly while Smackdown is being taped bi-weekly.
