» In addition to spending time at the Democratic National Convention last week in Denver, WWE will also be at the Republican National Convention this week in St. Paul. Shawn Michaels, Mr. Kennedy and Mickie James are slated to appear at the RNC. Batista, Shelton Benjamin and Candice Michelle appeared at the DNC convention. Michaels and Kennedy have done political work for the Republicans in the past, with Michaels involved in the last election in 2004 and Kennedy doing work earlier this year. No word on when they will appear due to Hurricane Gustav causing major changes.

» On a personal note, I want to send all of you who are down south or in the New Orleans area my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully Hurricane Gustav isn't as bad as predicated although I feel there is no other way to put it - this thing is comin' and it's packin' a helluva punch. » Dave sent this in: I've just been looking through the schedule for next weekend for Sky Sports, and I noticed this potential schedule conflict: Sky Sports 1: 21:00 - 00:30 - LIVE US Tennis Men's Final, 00:30 - 01:00 - Sports Adventure, 01:00 - 04:00 - LIVE WWE Unforgiven. This means that if the "LIVE US Tennis Men's Final" over-runs in any way, "LIVE WWE Unforgiven" will either be bumped to one of the sister Sky Sports channels, or even worse, be put on tape-delay following the US Tennis. Just thought I'd let you know.
