Midway Games held yet another press event this weekend to hype their upcoming TNA iMPACT! game, which is scheduled to hit home gaming consoles on September 9th. Here are some new bits of info on the game:

Midway Games is already working on the second TNA game. TNA and Midway are hoping to do annual releases of the "iMPACT!" game franchise, much like "SmackDown! vs. RAW" and games like Madden.

People who pre-order the game at game store 'Gamestop' will receive a 90 minute TNA highlights DVD. They typically require a $5-10 deposit for pre-orders though.

Afro Thunder, from Midway's "Ready 2 Rumble" boxing game will be a downloadable character in the TNA iMPACT! game.
