UFC 92 Blow-By-Blow Live Main Card Commentary:

Cheick Kongo vs. Mostapha Al-Turk (Heavyweight)

Round one: Kongo opens with a snappy left jab... Al-Turk throws a right kick, Kongo catches it and lands right cross knocking Al-Turk down... Kongo cracks a downed Al-Turk with left and right kicks to the legs.

Al-Turk gets back to his feet and rushes Kongo trying for a takedown... Kongo shows good standup defense... Al-Turk continues to try for the takedown and pushes Kongo up against fence... Kongo peppers him with right hands and then elbows.

Al-Turk fires off a low knee while in a clinch on cage... Mazzagati stops fight and warns Al-Turk for the low blow.

When action continues Turk misses with a wild right. He goes for a single leg takedown... Kongo answers with a low blow of his own... Mazzagati stops action again and warns both fighters.

Kongo is energized. he throws a right behind Al-Turk's right ear. He lands another right to Al-Turk's jaw, knocking him down.

Kongo pounces and unreels an ungodly ground and pound attack... Hammerfist after hammerfist, followed by a vicious barrage of elbows. One elbow opens a large gash on Al-Turk's forehead...

Al-Turk tries to weather the storm, but Kongo reels off elbow after elbow...

Fight is mercifully stopped.

Final result: Kongo by TKO at 4:37 of 1st Rd.

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Wanderlei Silva (Light Heavyweight)

Round one: Rampage comes out looking spry, ready to box with Silva... Silva is cautious and throws a couple of tentative kicks... Silva gets close to Rampage and Rampage goes for a takedown, but Silva stops him with a a short knee to the chest...

Silva is still feeling out his punching range. He snaps a solid rick kick to Rampage's left knee... Another sharp right kick to the same place follows a few moments later.
