Jim Ross noted in his most recent blog that reigning ECW Champion Matt Hardy is hurt. Ross wrote: "Matt Hardy is nursing a sore knee but is working through it as many of you will see Friday night on Smackdown. Hopefully, the injury is more of a "tweak" and nothing overly serious."

Matt Hardy also posted the following headline on his MySpace page:"Matt is a lil beat up in Europe." He also posted an old photo of him having a bruised face, but has since replaced it with a different photo.
