Tajiri has issued a challenge to All Japan Triple Crown champion Minoru Suzuki. Speaking of Tajiri, the Japanese publication Weekly Pro Wrestling has selected Tajiri vs. The Esperzana (Takada) from 6/17 as Hustle's match of the year.
Weekly Pro Wrestling named Giant Bernard (ex A-Train, Albert, etc.) vs. Yuji Nagata as New Japan's match of the year.
There appears to be no truth to rumors that New Japan is attempting to book Kurt Angle for the promotion's 1/4 Tokyo Dome show.
